TEDx- PICT

We at TEDxPICT work for the sole purpose of bringing together an event that prioritises the sharing of ideas, stories and innovations that benefit the world at large. The sharing of ideas is crucial for the survival of a society that promotes progress, and TEDxPICT plays its part by providing various speakers a platform for the same. Encouraging free thought on issues many barely speak about, shedding light on hidden stories and bringing forth a surge of inspiration, energy and enthusiasm is what we're known for.

PISB-IEEE

PICT IEEE Student Branch (PISB) was established in the year 1988 with an aim of inculcating a sense of technical awareness amongst its student members. PISB aims to escalate the knowledge and trends in the diverse fields of technologies amongst its members. PISB upholds two major events every year - Credenz and Credenz Tech Dayz with the first one being conducted in odd semester and the latter one in even semester. PISB is also marked by its Women in Engineering (WIE) chapter, an initiative for empowerment of women.

PICT Art Circle

PICT art circle is an official cultural group of PICT college, formed in 1999, with an aim to give an opportunity for the individuals with usual technical mindset to showcase his/her artistic skills and help him/her to evolve as a better human being. Last but not the least you will be a part of "family away from family".

PASC-ACM

Association for computing machinery (ACM) is the world's largest educational and scientific society, unig educators, researchers and professors. PICT ACM student chapter (PASC) was established in 2011 with a view of fostering technical and non- technical qualities in an individual and helping them to shape their destiny. PASC is awarded as BEST ACM STUDENT CHAPTER in India consecutively in 2018 and 2018.

NSS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs[1] and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year in 1969. Aimed at developing student's personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community (esp. Villages) linkage.

E-cell

E-cell was founded by the college students, alumni, industry and faculty, toward the cause of producing quality leaders who contribute to the growth and the development of mankind. PICT EDC was inaugurated on 4th March 2009. The mission of the cell is to instill the spirit of entrepreneurship and to provide a platform for the creation of successful entrepreneurs.

PICTOREAL

PICTOREAL, as you split the word, PICT - O - REAL, is not jut a collection of articles, but cherished memories of the BEs, expression of enthusiasm of TEs for the final year, self- oriented department obsessed SEs and the beginning for all the FEs. PICTOREAL, our college magzine, reflects the manifold shades of learning and co-curricular activities including the creative and innovative ideas of young talents.

Robotics

PICT has been participating in ABU Robocon since past 8 years. . Robocon is a place where students can indulge their their curiosity and the passion for robotics and dare to go beyond the boundaries of your academics to explore real life applications of their knowledge, learn new boundaries of your academics to explore real life applications of their knowledge, learn new technologies and be exposed to national level competitions.
